For a weekend away we headed to Ace Hi Riding Ranch... Initially the plan was to catch a little horse riding, as well as having some cool activities for Olivia, the pregnancy got in the way of horse riding, but Olivia got her pony ride, and we all got a chance to feed the animals at the wildlife park which is free for people staying there...
Inexpensive accommodation, freezing cold, loads of bunks as well as our double bed, someone previously in our room had clearly wet the bed and not told anyone as it was stanksville! But for $70 a night, who can really complain... Think it would be much better to stay in summer for the sake of the temperature of the rooms, but ultimately a good time was had by all!

With a less then average napoli pasta for $20, barely average bacon risotto for $24 and the roast duck which might have been the only decent thing on our table, I was disappointed with the 45 minutes it took to get our meals, the price vs quality of our meals and wont be going back...

On a recommendation from a friend I began watching Reaper... The first episode was directed by Kevin Smith which put an instant smile on Marks face... The first episode was good, I felt like it was building to something special... The next episode was unfortunately too much 'more of the same'... Started the third and fell asleep... Now in my current state that isn't quite saying something, but that I manage to stay up through So you think you can dance (US) 3 nights a week is saying something... haha... I spoke to the friend that recommended it, Nikesh I am calling you out ;) and it turned out that he stopped watching it too... For the same reason, too formulaic and I quote
' slacker moment

fluke of luck they triumph'
This leads me to believe that it might appeal to a very young audience, with its Scooby Doo type formula that we all kept watching as kids, though the content isn't for children... Tough...

They include the Dunk High, Dunk Low, Nike Cortez and the Air Max 90. Continuing it’s dominance as the one of Nike Sportswear’s Icons, the Air Max 90 gets a fresh renewal in colors and three new options for the toebox, tongue and lining. Premium leathers are back with up to twelve colors to choose from, including the three hot colors of the Olymics, gold, silver and bronze distressed metallics are available. For fabrics, three options are available, mesh is back in three colors - black, white and grey. The second option is a floral jaquard (on the Air Max 90 above) in several colors. The third is a “hero” option, which is a graphic inspired by Chinese hurdler Liu Xiang (seen on the design below) available for use on the toebox, upper heel, tongue and lining. When this show came to Australian TV a few years ago I was mildly interested, but was of the mind that anything this good wouldn't make it to free to air TV... I was wrong...
Like most HBO shows it has its own distinct flavour, set in a time and place that we are all aware of, but which might lead us to believe that it might just be a historically accurate portrayal of the time... It is so much more, focusing on the relationships as well as the politics of the time, bringing that HBO real feeling to it, you don't feel educated as such, you feel completely entertained, attached to the characters and have a desire to know what is going to happen next...
We watched both seasons in a couple of weeks and am now a bit disgruntled that there is no more, no third season, no film... If you are in to other HBO shows chances are that you will like this...
