We had done more then expected even with Marley so I was surprised to find a day without anything scheduled… Mark really wanted to go back downtown to look at Flight Club so we walked to Times Square to get the subway, got distracted by Toys R Us and spent hours looking around, bought more toys and t shirts for Marley… Stumbled upon Champs and Mark got some wicked t-shirts, I was so jealous that Nike just don’t do their best shirts in women’s sizes… Grabbed a couple things from GAP and finally got the train…
Flight club was good, unfortunately nothing for me but Mark got 2 caps (he got a LOT of caps on this trip!) and by the time we got back we thought we would just sit in and watch a film…

The shopping begins, we strapped Marley into her pram and walked to Herald Square, shopped up and down 33rd St starting with Macys... Macys provided some beautiful children’s clothes for Marley, and we spent so long there that her lunchtime came, we bolted to McDonalds as it was a convenient spot to feed her and refuel ourselves... Back to shopping, H&M, GAP, Footlocker, keeping on all the way to Fifth Ave and up that street... The highlight was FAO Schwartz where we spent a long time checking out toys for Marley, we ordered her ‘whatnot’ then shopped around, finding a few bits ad pieces for her, picking up our ‘whatnot’ and continuing on... The other shops didn’t hold much for us, and we were holding out for Nike Town, but alas there wasn’t much there either... Walked around Trump Towers, back out onto Fifth and eventually home... To start a trend for our trip in NYC we ordered in, once Marley was in bed, it was pretty good, and clear that you really get bang for your buck when ordering in!

GAP is everywhere, except Australia, so we had to check it out, especially for baby GAP and GAP kids, not too much to buy, but we did score a couple of items for Marley, and with 30% off GAP labelled items it was a bargain!

Designed by 6 pairs of artistic duos, each design started by the Parisian artist and finished by the New York artist. Artists involved are Artus x Peter Arkle, Miss Tic x Claw Money, Jean-Philippe Delhomme x Ruben, Thomas Lelu x Tobias Wong, Genevieve Gauckler x Eric Elms, and Andre x Neckface.

Im sooo jealous, Collette (Paris) is teaming up with GAPs 5th Ave store to bring you a concept pop up store adjacent to its flagship store... It will be open from September 6th to October 5th featuring exclusive Colette merchandise and limited edition GAP tees... Wish I was there...
