When starting this I did not see the parallels between this show and Angel... Once through the first episode it was clear, except that Angel is far superior... A few episodes into this show it certainly brings its own flavour to the vamp scene and it was mildly addictive... With a cast that grows and an interesting story through the weekly subplots... Was sad to find out that there will be no season 2, though apparently they are shopping it around to different networks...
