I haven't read the book and didn't know what to expect, but it was a big deal when we were in Vegas (which feels like forever ago!), so I thought I would check it out... I didn't know until I turned it on that Baz Luhrmann did it, which meant it was beautiful... So lovely on the eyeballs! The story and acting was all quite average, the whole film was, except for the beauty of the sets and costumes...
